Position: PR and Content Manager

Location: Chertsey / Parklands (Hybrid Role)

Salary: £40-45k dependent on experience

Role Overview:
As a PR and Content Manager, you will play a key role in our in-house communications team. You will be responsible for producing and creating relevant content for trade media and digital channels, supporting and developing key company campaigns, and providing PR support to the Compass One sector, including One Retail, Healthcare, and White Oaks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create engaging and strategic content across multiple channels, including digital assets, press releases, features, opinion pieces, thought leadership, our websites and white papers.
2. Manage campaigns such as Stop Food Waste Day, Social value including planet, people, health and wellbeing, and National Apprenticeship Week.
3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including sector communications leads, marketing teams, Inside Sales, and PR agencies.
4. Support internal and external events, including conferences and awards.
5. Manage social media channels and advise on best practices.
6. Report on successes and advise on future plans.
7. Respond to general media inquiries, including crisis management support as part of an 'on call' team rota.

Person Specification:

1. Strong verbal communication skills.
2. Digital media experience.
3. Excellent written ability, including writing for various channels and audiences.
4. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
5. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
6. At least five years of related experience in copywriting, PR journalism, or content creation.
