Reporting to the Head of Brand & Communications and working with the Regional Marketing Managers, the role will manage global media engagement to support the business’ priorities and increase ICIS’ brand reputation in key markets across Americas, Europe and APAC.
The role will support the development and delivery of ICIS’ global media strategy and corporate narrative and lead the delivery of regional media engagement. The PR and Communications Manager will form an important part of the team's engagement with top-tier business, financial and trade media, as well as our internal stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
The candidate will help design and execute proactive strategies and campaigns to maximise opportunities for accurate and positive positioning and media coverage and will drive and support key marketing campaigns. Results will be geared toward building positive coverage and increasing the business’ share of voice in key markets globally.
The candidate should have a consistent record in project management, working collaboratively and using media (online, print, broadcast, social) to influence and build brand rapport. They will have a strong sense of what makes a newsworthy story and will be able to identify and develop stories that build ICIS’ brand reputation. The highly visible nature of the function, and the often-sensitive content involved, means that the PR and Communications Manager is required to demonstrate exemplary personal judgement and initiative while working as part of a close-knit and high-performing team.
This high-profile and highly visible role would suit an ambitious candidate who enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is looking to develop their media relations and communications skills.
