PR Account Manager

Location: Buckinghamshire

Our client, a leading PR agency, is looking for an experienced PR Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The PR Account Manager will provide support on a variety of projects for PR and media clients, manage social media and print.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Establish yourself as the main day-to-day point of contact for clients and maintain professional and effective relationships.
  2. Research and write press releases/technical features for clients from a variety of sectors, within tight timescales.
  3. Social media management.
  4. Take part in regular team and individual creative brainstorm sessions to develop ideas proactively for clients.
  5. Be able to communicate your ideas effectively to the rest of the team.
  6. Have a good understanding of the wider aspects of marketing, including design, print, photography, video, e-mail, and website development.
  7. Have good relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favourable prices for clients/the agency.

Skills/Experience:
  1. Experience working within a PR Agency.
  2. Excellent client communication skills.
  3. Excellent research and writing skills for a variety of situations and audiences.
  4. Excellent media relations experience.
  5. Ability to take part in new business meetings.
  6. Ability to cross-sell other services and develop clients.
  7. Ability to manage junior members of the team.
