Job description

Primary Teacher

PPA teacher
Atherton/ Tyldesley area
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm
From £120 - £170 depending on experience
ASAP Start until July 2025

We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Primary Teacher who is looking for a full-time Monday - Friday role to cover PPA within a primary school on the outskirts of the Tyldesley/Atherton area of Wigan.

The Primary School is a 1 form entry school with a dedicated staff and supportive SLT. This school is oversubscribed and in high demand from parents and is in an affluent area.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of success in teaching and be happy to cover PPA across the school from Year 2 to Year 6. You should be passionate about engaging children and helping them to achieve their full potential and should be committed to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for all.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  1. Be a qualified teacher with QTS
  2. Experience of working within both KS1 and KS2
  3. Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
  4. Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  5. CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  6. Legal right to work in the UK
