Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for you as an experienced Power Trading Business Analyst to be part of European Power Programme. Competitive Day Rate (Umbrella) 6-12 Month Contract.

Description: Project: Electron to ETRM (E2ETRM)

• E2ETRM consists of three separate product teams. PDA ingests forecasts; AMP ingests real-time, actuals and availability data; and ACE ensures Aligne is updated to keep European Power's PnL accurate.
• Business case: This product makes sure that the trading in Power portfolio is accurate.
• Business Application: ACE (Advanced Capture Engine), Asset Management Platform (AMP), Power Desk Analytics.
• Capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements and translate into functionality.
• Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create/update clear documentation of requirements to align with the solution over the project lifecycle.
• Configure and document software and processes, using agreed standards and tools.
• Create acceptance criteria and validate that solutions meet business needs, through defining and coordinating testing.
• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control Business Analysis activities on projects within agreed parameters of cost, time, and quality.

Skills & Requirements:

• Corporate IT experience; 5-7 Years IT BA Experience
• Strong Power Trading Operations Experience
• ETRM Knowledge and experience
• CCBA or PMI-PBA certified preferred.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker, and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
