Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Power System Studies Engineer for a 12-month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

On Offer

  1. Competitive hourly pay rate
  2. Outside IR35 work engagement
  3. Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

Skills / Experience

  1. We are looking for a Power systems studies engineer to support various onshore and offshore projects.
  2. These include local power, renewable power including BESS or grid connections at voltages up to 220kV.
  3. Studies will include equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc flash, transient stability, and protection coordination.
  4. Tasks will include running power system studies and overseeing third-party vendors providing power system studies for projects including EMT software.
  5. Advanced experience using ETAP software.
