Power Platform Technical Lead

Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Power Platform Technical Lead to work with a key client.

Please note candidates must work via an umbrella company.

Description:

1. The Technical Lead will lead a Power Platform (mainly Power Apps) development team and will be involved in development and support of new and existing products.
2. Carrying out development in accordance with the agreed requirements and development standards.
3. Testing of products in accordance with the test strategy to ensure that they are fit for purpose.
4. Examining packages of work and giving realistic timescales for completion.
5. Completion of work allocated within agreed time, cost and quality criteria and providing progress reports on assigned work as required.
6. Management and control of problems and change within their area of responsibility as requested, including negotiation with other teams as necessary.
7. Prompt escalation of problems, issues and risks as necessary.
8. Playing an active part in Process improvement, awareness of and compliance with all relevant quality processes and procedures, including completion of all the specified quality records.
9. Ensuring work delivered from the team has been reviewed and meets the quality standards laid down by the project.
10. Knowledge of Agile methodology, OO Analysis & Design techniques.
11. Experience of Data Modelling.
12. Awareness of Risk, Change & Problem Management.
13. Awareness of Configuration Management.
14. Awareness of testing best practice.
15. Awareness of DevOps Pipelines and ALM.

Skills:

1. Power Apps – advanced level required.
2. Azure Dev Ops – basic knowledge required.
3. SQL - Ability to integrate SQL with Power Apps.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills, Problem solving and creativity skills, Honesty and Integrity, Eagerness to learn, Drive and energy.
5. Previous experience of leading technical teams.
