Summary

NG Bailey are currently seeking a Power BI/Data & Reporting Developer to join our head office in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for a Power BI enthusiast to drive the development and adoption of business reporting/dashboarding for multiple divisions and stakeholders across the NG Bailey Group. The role will suit an individual that is comfortable working independently and is able to leverage their knowledge and experience to present a range of potential solutions. Extensive stakeholder engagement is required at all levels to drive effective data visualisations that can provide insightful actions. This is a permanent position based at our brand-new Leeds office (LS11 0DL) and offers flexible, hybrid working.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and ongoing maintenance of Power BI reporting solutions.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define key metrics, and design reporting solutions.
• Support/manage the delivery life cycle from design through to delivery.
• Utilise best practice user interface design and data presentation.
• Manage the completeness and accuracy of large volume datasets into meaningful MI.
• Provide continuous improvement and support to the business.
• Champion Power BI and help form a centre-of-excellence providing expert consultancy.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven track record in the development and delivery of business reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Familiar and competent in the use of Power BI and DAX.
• Proven and demonstrable Power BI UX design experience.
• Experience with structuring and helping users consume and use Power BI dashboards.
• Management of multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
• Experience in data manipulation including management of large datasets.
• Knowledge of data modelling techniques used in data warehouse solutions.
• Expertise in turning business ideas into tangible requirements.

Ideal Applicants Will Also

• Experience in administrating the Power BI Service.
• Experience in low code environments such as Power Apps.
• SQL Knowledge.
• SQL Reporting Services Experience.
