Casualty is a BAFTA winning soap about the staff and patients at the Holby City Emergency Department, charting the ups and downs in their personal and professional lives whilst wrestling with the controversial and sensitive issues that its audience resonate with. Through great writing and visual flair, the show balances gritty realism with high drama to keep its millions of dedicated viewers coming back for more, week in week out.
THE ROLE
Are you an experienced editor, who has extensive experience in editing scripted drama content? Are you editorially minded and looking for the chance to edit one of the UK’s most popular TV programmes?
The Casualty team are looking for a Post Production Editor to join their team. They will go on to edit 4 -5 of the upcoming blocks on the series, as well as be on hand to edit other forms of content, such as trailers.
As much editorially as technically focused, this exciting opportunity would suit an experienced scripted drama editor, with multiple credits, who also has a good knowledge and appreciation of Casualty and its style. You will be someone who is able to creatively respond to producer’s and previous editor’s notes and provide editorial suggestions. We are looking for someone that can be adaptable and can jump on and work on another editor’s work with no issue as well as someone who, from day to day, is able to prioritise effectively and manage theirs and others workload.

Salary range: £55,000 - £60,000
