Position:
We are excited to be seeking an enthusiastic self-motivated individual with highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to join the Director of Acute Services Office as Portfolio Programme Manager – Governance and Assurance.
What you will do:
Based at Ailsa Hospital, you will work closely with the Director of Acute Services and wider Executive and Senior Management Teams in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
As an experienced Programme Manager, you will develop and manage the Acute Services programme portfolio and provide dedicated professional programme management expertise to facilitate and oversee the delivery of the required outcomes.
You will champion good governance and risk management principles in line with statutory requirements, analysing and interpreting local and national requirements for implementation.
With a Master’s Degree or equivalent demonstrable experience, you will have practical and theoretical understanding of programme management tools and techniques. You will have recent experience of working in the NHS, other public sector organisations within a relevant role. You will have significant experience of working directly with Directors and Senior Managers and an awareness of the political sensitivity of information together with the ability, and mental agility, to work through issues and think at both a strategic and operational level.
