We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated pool maintenance technician/service helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and cleaning of residential swimming pools, ensuring they are safe, clean, and functioning properly. The ideal candidate will also assist the main service technician during openings & closings, initial cleanings and when needed. This role requires a strong ability to work independently while also working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

1. Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance, including skimming, vacuuming, chemical balancing, brushing pool surfaces, and equipment checks.
2. Assist with pool openings and closings.
3. Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters for proper operation; perform repairs or replacements as necessary.
4. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about their pool care needs and addressing any concerns.
5. Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to the supervisor and maintain accurate records of services performed and chemicals used for each client’s pool.
6. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment while handling chemicals and operating equipment.
7. Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance and/or repair jobs (i.e. liner replacement, skimmer line replacement, etc.)
8. Utilize hand and power tools effectively for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.

Skills

1. Previous experience is not required. Must be willing to learn.
2. Must have valid DL and transportation to work/office.
3. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
4. Strong attention to detail to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed thoroughly.
5. Teamwork, honesty, integrity, positive attitude and willingness to learn are what we are looking for!
