An established industry player is seeking dedicated investigators for their Vehicle Organised Crime Team in Birmingham. PSIO - Vehicle Organised Crime Team (VOCT), Birmingham LPA
The West Midlands Police Vehicle Organised Crime team investigate linked series technology enabled (keyless) theft of motor vehicles and theft of motor vehicle parts often referred to a 'car cannibalism' offences across Birmingham. These are often organised crime groups stealing vehicles to order with the intention of selling the parts or exporting out of the country. The team work closely with the NVCRP and Car manufacturing industry to reduce offences and provide justice for victims.

The newly formed VOCT team in Birmingham will work Monday to Friday office hours (0700-1500/ 0800-1600hrs). Investigators will perform a variety of duties and responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role, this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.

Appointment to this role may be dependent upon successfully completing medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.
