Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) - August 2025 Intake

Salary: £26,106 rising to £28,653 per annum + Excellent Benefits including Government Pension

Location: Exeter, Forcewide

Hours per week: This role is 37 hours per week. The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

Your role as a PCSO will be to improve local confidence and trust in the police by providing a uniformed policing presence within the community; by encouraging the positive involvement of partners and communities in identifying local policing and community safety priorities, and by working together as part of a neighbourhood team to provide a responsive approach to improving peoples’ sense of personal safety and reducing their fear of crime.

Following successful completion of the application forms and pre-selection tests, interviews for this role have been provisionally planned between the 6th and 11th May 2025. Interviews will be held on the College of Policing's 2024 Competency Values Framework (CVF).
