Main Responsibilities as a Polaris Technical Writer

1. Develop, write, and maintain user manuals, training guides, and technical documentation for Polaris Library Management Systems.
2. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and clarity of documentation.
3. Create and update online help resources and FAQs for end-users.
4. Simplify technical jargon into user-friendly language for various audiences, including non-technical users.
5. Conduct usability testing of documentation and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
6. Ensure all materials meet organisational and industry standards for style and accessibility.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

1. Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably with expertise in Polaris.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Familiarity with libraries, metadata standards, or related fields is a plus.
