The role: Engineering Technician - Plumber


The Engineering Technician - Plumber supports the Technical Supervisor and AOM (Area Operations Manager) providing a reactive and pre-planned maintenance service to building engineering systems and services at various sites in accordance with laid down procedures and safe working practices.


To carry out maintenance, fault finding and repair on all systems as directed by the Technical Supervisor or the AOM.


Key responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Complete reactive repairs on water appliances on site and associated plant.
  2. Assist on other jobs within skill set around site as needed.
  3. Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and always promoted.
  4. Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long learning.

Person Specification:

  1. College or equivalent plumbing qualifications.
  2. 3-5 Years' Experience in a similar Role.
  3. Experience on working on boiler equipment.
  4. Experience on work on sanitary equipment.
  5. Experience on commercial catering gas a bonus.
  6. Ability to communicate at all levels.
  7. Organised and disciplined approach to work giving careful attention to detail.
  8. Able to work independently & efficiently.

Desirable:

  1. Manual Handling awareness.
  2. F-Gas certified.
  3. Legionella awareness.
  4. PASMA.
  5. IPAF.
  6. Asbestos Awareness.
  7. Roof Working.
