At Elekta, we’re looking for a PLM Excellence Lead to play a pivotal role in driving strategic and operational goals within our PLM Transformation & Excellence team. In this high-impact role, you will support the VP and Head of Digital Transformation, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive AI/GenAI innovation to enhance process excellence across the organization.

What you’ll do at Elekta

Strategic Planning and Execution

  1. Facilitate the process in PLM to define strategic and operational goals, programs, and establish a review cadence based on OKR methodology.
  2. Drive the execution rhythm of the team – PI Planning and Reviews, Quarterly Senior Management Reviews and Weekly Huddles aimed towards achieving the OKRs.
  3. Collaborate with the Director/Chief of Staff of the Business Line to ensure timely delivery of actions relating to Business Line operations and initiatives.
  4. Develop and oversee comprehensive budget plans, ensuring accurate allocation of resources, monitoring expenditures, and implementing cost-saving strategies to optimize financial performance.

Leadership Support

  1. Support the VP in driving the business agenda and leadership meetings (e.g., preparations for Board and Executive Committee meetings).
  2. Act as a strategic advisor to the VP.

Communication Strategy

  1. Develop a communication strategy and framework to drive common impactful messaging to employees and stakeholders.
  2. Create internal and external presentations leveraging data to tell a compelling story.
  3. Run internal communications programs, including town halls and employee communications.

Human Capital Strategy

  1. Analyse employee engagement survey for the team and translate scores and outcomes into meaningful actions and drive those actions.

Generative AI (GenAI) Responsibilities

  1. Provide support to identify and implement internal GenAI solutions to augment process excellence initiatives.
  2. Enable data driven decision making by supporting the integration of AI-enabled outputs with Power BI and other reporting tools.
  3. Promote company-wide adoption of GenAI to foster innovation and streamline communication strategies.
  4. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into value-add AI and/or RPA solutions.
  5. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to integrate AI solutions into business processes.
  6. Maintain currency with the latest advances in AI and machine learning technologies.

What you bring

  1. A science/technology-related bachelor's degree or management degree.
  2. 5+ years’ experience in corporate or 2+ years’ experience in business consulting.
  3. Experience working for a medical device or product-based company preferred.
  4. Familiarity with basic software programming (e.g., Python) and AI/machine learning algorithms/LLMs preferred.
  5. Experience with agile ways of working.
  6. Experience managing and driving high-impact transformational projects in cross-functional teams.
  7. Proven track record of acting with executive-level leadership.
  8. Experience collaborating with senior executives across a large organization.
  9. Proven ability to help drive implementation of critical strategic initiatives that require deep partnership with functional and business unit leadership.
  10. Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  11. Expertise in managing and driving high-impact projects in cross-functional teams.
  12. Proven experience in planning and executing large projects.
  13. Expertise in managing complex projects and driving them to successful completion.
  14. Strong analytical skills to support decision-making and provide actionable insights.
