Reidvale Adventure Play Association Ltd is a voluntary organisation with charitable status based in Dennistoun, Glasgow. RAPA offers a range of fully integrated play services and experiences within a fully accessible and integrated playground environment.
We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic individual to provide a variety of play, sport and free play experiences both indoors and outdoors.

The Yard is an award-winning charity that runs adventure play services for children with disabilities and/or additional support needs and their families.
As a Play Team Leader, you will supervise and deliver a range of inclusive social, recreational and adventure play-based activities at The Yard, with the rest of the play team.
About the role:
Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of the people you are supporting. You will be ensuring the safety of the children within The Yard, engaging children and young people in creative play, liaising with their parents and carers, schools and other organisations to ensure service satisfaction remains high and supervising the play and volunteering staff effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new and innovative Restorative Family Group Decision Making Service in East Ayrshire. The new team and model of relational and restorative approaches, including Family Group Decision Making, will play a pivotal role in the delivery and development of the service, ensuring high quality relationships with children and families and working alongside our partners to evidence impact. We are therefore looking to recruit a dynamic, experienced team of individuals who can drive the successful development and growth of this new and innovative partnership.
You do not require previous experience in the delivery of Family Group Decision Making but you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles and values of the approach. You must also show a commitment to complete accredited training, which will be provided.
If you have experience of working within child protection processes, are committed to restorative approaches, meaningfully involving children and families, and have a professional qualification in a relevant area such as Social Work, Teaching or equivalent in Childcare/Social Care or related area, accredited counselling qualification, or other relevant qualification at SCQF level 9 or higher, then we want to hear from you.

Base
You will be based in East Ayrshire with our partners in the HSCP and will travel to connect with other parts of the organisation. You will work on an outreach basis to connect with children and families in communities across East Ayrshire.
Salary, Conditions, Pension
We will offer you a competitive salary, generous annual leave entitlement (40 days inclusive of 9 public holidays). We have additional benefits such as a cash back health plan, cycle to work scheme, and option to join a Credit Union.
This is a 28 hour maternity cover position, until 31st December 2025.

Within this role the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our operations and processes run smoothly and to a high standard, with a core focus on excellent customer service.
We are looking for someone that is based in the Scottish Borders, with at least 5 years of previous experience as an administrator. You will be able to demonstrate experience of working remotely, a self-starter that understands the importance of meeting deadlines and managing your workload effectively. You will have excellent administrative and financial experience, be able to handle confidential information, communicate with clients and their families with care and sensitivity, as well as the ability to manage our work with local solicitors and other partners across the Scottish Borders. We can offer you a varied and interesting role with plenty of support as and when needed.
