We are working with a software provider in the manufacturing industry who is seeking to onboard a Platform Engineer into a newly created position in their DevOps team.

Reporting to the Head of DevOps, this role will play a critical role in the improvement of their infrastructure, and help lead a variety of future projects including a move from ECS to Kubernetes, an infrastructure review, and an automated database indexing system.

LOCATION - HENLEY-IN-ARDEN (HYBRID)

SALARY - £60,000-£75,000

Key Skills:

1. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
2. A background in software development, ideally within .Net, C# or Typescript
3. Experience with AWS or Azure
4. Familiarity with container or container orchestration such as ECS or Kubernetes
5. Understanding of system monitoring and testing - Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo
6. Ability to communicate complex technical ideas across teams
7. Solid understanding of software development best practices
8. Knowledge of Terraform would be advantageous
