Salary: Up to £80,000
Working Pattern: Hybrid (1-2 days per week on-site)

Are you a passionate Linux DevOps enthusiast ready to elevate your career? We're offering an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, multi-national Information Management function as a DevOps/Platform Engineer. We're looking for a Kubernetes expert to manage, secure, and enhance our containerised solutions.

Duties:

• Container Management: Deploy, secure, and optimise Docker and Kubernetes environments for rapid application development and testing.
• Customer Guidance: Lead workshops and advise internal teams on containerised solutions and Kubernetes platform use.
• Automation & Innovation: Leverage tools like Ansible and GitLab to support IT service automation and shape the future of software-defined data centres within MBDA.
• Performance & Security: Ensure Kubernetes environment health, scalability, and compliance with security best practices.

Essential Requirements:

• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Harbor, Helm, Nexus, Artifactory, Python, GitLab, and Ansible.
• Strong Linux OS knowledge (particularly RHEL) and automation skills with scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools for platform continuity.
• Familiarity with security practices for Kubernetes and container maintenance.
• Knowledge of OpenShift and CI/CD is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to conduct training and workshops to educate colleagues on Kubernetes platforms.

Benefits:

• Salary: Up to £80,000.
• Company Bonus: Bonus of up to 21% of base salary.
