Job Title: Plater (Surface Treatment) Experienced Operative

Location: Stroud

Contract Details: Permanent position with full-time hours

Salary: 13 - 13.50 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities:
As a Plater (Surface Treatment) Experienced Operative, you will:

  • Prepare components for surface treatment through masking, media blasting, and waxing
  • Follow detailed process instructions and data sheets for processing components
  • Accurately record processing times and results from surface treatment operations
  • Promote a safety-first culture within the team
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the Surface Treatment department

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Proven ability to follow process instructions meticulously
  • A keen eye for detail and quality
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Strong team player attitude
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct and relevant experience in a surface treatment environment

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Experience in an aerospace processing environment
  • Qualifications in Chemistry (GCSE and above)
  • IMF Foundation or Technician Qualification

Technologies:
Familiarity with surface treatment processes and related technologies is essential for this role.
