Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plasterer Multi Trader to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of plastering and multi-trade tasks in social housing properties. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform plastering repairs and installations, including skimming, rendering, and patch repairs.
  2. Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks, such as carpentry, tiling, and basic plumbing work.
  3. Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of plastering and building systems.
  5. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  6. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  7. Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and management to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Proven experience as a plasterer and multi trader in the social housing sector.
  2. Relevant plastering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering).
  3. Strong knowledge of plastering techniques, tools, and equipment.
  4. Ability to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites as required.
