Job Title: Plasterer - Council Properties Repairs & Maintenance

Location: Wolverhampton, UK

Contract Type: Full-Time Monday- Friday.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our team in Wolverhampton, focusing on the repair and maintenance of council properties. You will play a key role in ensuring the upkeep and safety of residential homes, providing high-quality plastering services to a wide range of properties across the city.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out all aspects of plastering work including skimming, rendering, patch repairs, and plasterboard installation.
  2. Respond to maintenance and repair requests from tenants, ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
  3. Work on both occupied and vacant council properties, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.
  4. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  5. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  6. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a plasterer, ideally within a social housing or similar environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of various plastering techniques and materials.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  5. Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants and colleagues.
  6. A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
  7. CSCS certification.
  8. Asbestos Awareness certification.
