AD Plant Operator

Location: Attleborough

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000

Alecto Recruitment is working with a key figure in the AD sector, who is looking for a Plant Operator for their site near Norwich. The Operator will assist the Site Manager in running the site.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Day to day operations on the Anaerobic Digestion plant
  2. Working Days only on a 4 on/ 4 off rota with a call out rota
  3. Running the plant via a DCS or SCADA system, ensuring the plant is running as it should via the screens
  4. Visual plant and equipment fault-finding
  5. Performing first line maintenance activities, such as isolating and changing a pump
  6. Feeding the fuel into the hoppers/plant
  7. Driving a Telehandler and other machinery on site
  8. Keeping the site clean and tidy
  9. Contributing to positive site operations and looking for continuous improvement opportunities

Skills and Qualifications
  1. A qualification in an engineering discipline would be ideal
  2. Telehandler licence and able to drive mobile plant
  3. WAMITAB/ NEBOSH/ IOSH - Ideal

Knowledge and Experience
  1. AD site experience is desirable
  2. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  3. Commitment to achieve the highest standards of work at all times
  4. Takes full ownership of tasks through to conclusion
