Job Details:

As a Plant Manager, you will lead and inspire multiple production manufacturing sites. You will be responsible for operations including production, supply chain, quality, facilities, maintenance, CI, EHS and CX. This is a pivotal role within the business, and you will be instrumental in creating the correct operational structure, strategy, and culture to execute long term growth plans that are sustainable and in line with continuous improvement plans. You will be an inspiring, motivational leader with the ability to manage multiple manufacturing sites and 150 reports to ensure operations teams in the delivery of consistently high standards of safety, product quality, operational excellence, and customer service. Promote a safety culture ensuring everyone adheres to safe work practices & standard operating procedures. You will support ongoing production processes and continuous improvement activities and undertake process improvement and capex submissions/projects to ensure existing and future methods of manufacturing are effective and financially viable whilst adding value to the business and process. Ensuring the best possible utilisation of materials, plant, equipment, and staff whilst challenging processes, procedures, and methods to improve production productivity and reduce nonvalue added activities through LEAN manufacturing, 5s, 6 Sigma, SMED and mentoring manufacturing teams with sound solutions and innovative operating methods to drive the business forward.

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills / qualifications / attributes:

The successful candidate will ideally be degree qualified within manufacturing/operations/ engineering or similar with a proven track record of working in a similar role i.e. Plant Manager / Operations Manager / Manufacturing Manager at senior operations level within manufacturing/ engineering. You will have experience of Lean manufacturing processes and leading teams across multiple sites within a manufacturing production environment. You must have the ability to implement improvements, financial reporting and deliver results. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the commercial awareness and confidence to make decisions. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational and leadership skills that will inspire teams through coaching whilst instilling best practices and building capability.
