Plant Fitter Technician

Salary: £38k to £40k paid weekly, including pension and holiday benefits.

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

Benefits: 31 days holiday, pension, and parking.

Plant Fitter

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 39-hour week, plus up to 7 hours overtime.

Essential: Must have a driving licence.

Client:
My client is an industry leader within the Mobile Plant sector, covering a number of contracts throughout Warwickshire. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plant Fitter in the Warwickshire area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct repairs, servicing, and maintenance on plant machinery based in Rugby.
  2. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
  3. Perform workshop duties as required, including servicing and maintenance.
  4. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
  5. Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.

What We're Looking For:
  1. Previous experience as a plant fitter is essential.
  2. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
  3. Knowledge of earth moving machinery.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Full UK driving license required.
  6. Willingness to travel for mobile duties and flexibility to work in the workshop when needed.
  7. You must have experience in the HGV & Plant Fitter industry to apply for this position.
