We are a family run independent Garden Centre trading since 1979. We are a highly acclaimed garden centre in Cumbria, offering a unique shopping experience. We are passionate about customer service and our centre and what it means to residents living near and visitors from afar.

Responsibilities

Buying plants for the garden centre, with knowledge of seasonal purchasing and required quantities.
Ensuring experience in the horticultural industry.
Working with plants, including watering, feeding, plant care, and neatening display benches while being friendly and knowledgeable to customers.
Overseeing deliveries, pricing, plant displays, and monitoring plant disease.
Assisting with incoming shop deliveries.
Ordering garden-related shop goods, with a primary focus on plants.
Advising customers, handling till work, and loading purchases into cars.
Helping with the overall running of the garden centre and maintaining the land space.

Qualifications

Horticulture qualifications are a benefit.
