Job description

Exciting opportunity for a Planning NQ-3 Solicitor to join this leading regional firm with offices throughout the Midlands and South of England.

Based in Herefordshire, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an inclusive and friendly department where you can work autonomously as well as part of a team across all their offices. You can expect to be involved in a variety of work including:

  1. Advising on Planning Contravention Notices, Breach of Condition Notices and Stop Notices
  2. Advocacy including Public Inquiries
  3. Enforcement notices
  4. Appeals against the refusal/non-determination of planning applications
  5. Assets of community value, Local Green Space Designations and Town and Village Greens
  6. Compulsory purchase
  7. Defending planning prosecutions
  8. High Court challenges - statutory review and judicial review
  9. Listed buildings consent, heritage assets and conservation areas
  10. Planning and environment due diligence
  11. Planning objections
  12. Section 106 agreements and infrastructure agreements
