Salary: SK11 – SK16 (currently £34,482 - £42,930 per annum)

With the recent publication of the new National Planning Policy Framework, it is an exciting time to be a policy planner. Working as part of a team of professional officers, you will help to fulfil the Council’s strategic corporate priorities. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference for our residents, supporting and managing growth in the District.
You will assist with the preparation of the Local Plan, a key document in the delivery of sustainable growth across the district, and other development plan documents.
As a Senior Planning Policy Officer, you will have the day-to-day responsibility for the preparation and delivery of the Local Plan, including the preparation and delivery of evidence. You will enable communities to have a say in the future of the places where they live and work by supporting the preparation of Neighbourhood Plans.
