Job description

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Planning Manager to join a great business in West Sussex. The Planning Manager will work with the Estates and Planning team have proven experience of planning - estates - commercial property / rural / land development planning.

Salary: up to 65K plus car allowance or company car

Location: Hybrid working, West Sussex

Planning Manager duties:

  • Manage planning projects
  • Preparation and submission of planning appraisals, statements and planning applications
  • Provide strategic planning advice for new development plans or redevelopment projects
  • Liaison with councils / planning consultants
  • Support with re-application process and meetings
  • Attend planning - site review meetings when required to different locations

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience of working in a similar Planning role, preparing and successfully securing planning consents
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
