Job description

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Planning Manager to join a great business in West Sussex. The Planning Manager will work with the Estates and Planning team and have proven experience of planning in estates, commercial property, rural, and land development planning.


Salary: up to £65K plus car allowance or company car


Location: Hybrid working, West Sussex


Planning Manager Duties:
  1. Manage planning projects
  2. Preparation and submission of planning appraisals, statements, and planning applications
  3. Provide strategic planning advice for new development plans or redevelopment projects
  4. Liaison with councils and planning consultants
  5. Support with re-application process and meetings
  6. Attend planning site review meetings when required to different locations
Skills and Experience:
  1. Proven experience of working in a similar Planning role, preparing and successfully securing planning consents
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  3. Be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
