Our Contingent Workforce Solution (CWS) is one of our service offerings; we act as an extension of Rolls-Royce’s recruitment team and provide professional interim and temporary resources.

Rolls-Royce is undertaking a multi-year transformation program to revolutionize its SIOP process, enhancing transparency, agility, and decision-making. The transformation aims to deliver connected, live data insights for executive leadership, driving optimised operational and financial outcomes.

We are looking for a number of Planning & Control Managers on a 24-month contract based in Derby (Hybrid 3 days on site, 2 days from home). You will be a dynamic Planning Professional, playing a pivotal role in driving transformation across multiple functions, including Central Planning, Project Value Streams, Aftermarket Operations, Procurement, and Manufacturing Business Units.

As a Planning & Control Manager you will be responsible for:

  1. Shape and drive the planning transformation journey to enhance operational and financial outcomes.
  2. Implement and optimise new processes and tools to support the evolving SIOP framework.
  3. Support the execution of recurring SIOP planning activities, ensuring alignment across the organisation.
  4. Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Central Planning, Procurement, Aftermarket, Value Streams, and Manufacturing Units.
  5. Act as a trusted partner to influence and drive decisions across teams.
  6. Identify and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of SIOP processes and tools.
  7. Analyse and integrate data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights for strategic and operational decision-making.

What we require from the candidate:

  1. Proven experience leading SIOP processes, ideally in manufacturing industries.
  2. Expertise in planning tools within ERP systems (e.g., MRP) and Advanced Planning Systems.
  3. Proficiency in data analysis and management, with experience in handling executive data sets.
  4. Strong capability to interpret and generate insights from diverse data systems and sources.
  5. Robust organisational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  6. Demonstrated leadership presence with the ability to influence in a matrixed organisation.
  7. Experience creating executive-level presentations and effectively communicating complex business topics.
  8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster cross-functional collaboration.
