Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring product availability on over 4000 products, delivering high levels of service to Trade, Stockists and intercompany customers. Working closely with the Production function the role will support achieving the manufacturing plan and inventory targets; also working in conjunction with the Procurement team to ensure packaging availability and launch/promotion activity is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • As part of the team, maintain product availability for ~4,500 manufactured SKUs to achieve a line level service targets, optimise inventory and manage cost.
  • Proactively manage, interpret and validate our finished goods MRP (Materials Requirements Plan) and specific finished good master data.
  • Manage and deliver launch and promotional planning OTIF ensuring close communication with the Procurement, Commercial and Demand teams.
  • Schedule batches in line with agreed PSO (production sign off) plan to hit cost/litre targets, responding to breakdowns or material shortages by adjusting the plan.
  • Responsible for creation and communication of a fixed week plan to support data reliability for both manufacturing and customer service.
  • Monitor production output and communicate priorities to production group and cell leads.
  • Provide cover for other team members where required.
  • Work with Procurement and Production to ensure component availability in line with the production plan.
  • Interact with the wider business to minimise write off costs during product rundowns.
  • Communicate with intercompany customers across Europe to ensure product availability for both push pull flow supply items.
  • Point of contact for demand planning, customer service and other internal customers about production plans.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks or capacity constraints that will impact product availability.
  • Contribute to and support on wider supply chain improvement projects and continuous improvement efforts to eliminate process and system risks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects within local supply chain to and internally within planning to improve team efficiency.
