Planning Administrator

We do what we say

That's why we need people like you, to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done!

The Role:

As a Planner for Clancy, you will play a vital role in helping us to achieve operational excellence that delights our customers through efficient and logical planning of our operational team's schedules.

You will be planning & scheduling work orders for our reinstatement team, which includes requesting council permits and traffic management services, always with the health and safety of our teams top of mind.

Here are some of the activities you'll be involved in:

  1. Liaise with the Repair & Maintenance team to understand the progress of their work orders, allowing you to proactively prepare for upcoming reinstatement work orders.
  2. Ensure requirements are translated into accurate and concise work instructions.
  3. Build great relationships with operational teams, local authorities, and clients.
  4. Ask the right questions to ensure the permits you request from the council are for the correct work types and timeframes.
  5. Manage customer calls in relation to site conditions and work defects.
  6. Plan and issue works defected by the highways department.
  7. Ensure all permits are closed upon completion of works.
  8. Locate reported works within the client's and our systems to ensure planning is in place.

What do you need?

We are keen to recruit an energetic team player with great communication skills and previous work experience that includes organisation and customer service.

A detailed and forward-thinking approach to problem-solving is important, as well as being someone who is focused on getting it 'right first time'.

It's helpful if you understand Health & Safety and Streetworks legislation, but this is not essential, as we will provide the appropriate training. Highways knowledge is also advantageous.
