Job description

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join their planning team in a role that is pivotal to ensuring a smooth supply of goods and data.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • An understanding of manufacturing processes
  • ERP experience, LN an advantage
  • Experience within a manufacturing/Sheet Metal Engineering environment desirable
  • Previous administration experience with a proven track record in a production planning environment, together with knowledge of the supply chain process and systems
Role Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting the planning team by printing and issuing rollings by using Sirplan
  • You will support the production function by creating, issuing and updating documentation and input planning requirements into the company database and systems
  • You will be liaising between departments whilst representing the planning office and function and you will be expected to do this efficiently and with professionalism at all times
  • Capable of spending time in a shop floor production area gathering data and status and reporting back to the planning team
  • Be an active member of the site stock takes
  • Willing to undertake other tasks where required
  • Take part in project meetings, taking minutes where necessary
  • Assist with the production of data sheets, user manuals and documentation where required
  • Reviewing the plan on a daily/weekly basis, checking and chasing missing raw materials and re planning where necessary
  • Firm planning for the next week's production plan to be discussed during weekly meetings.
  • Reviewing all unscheduled Works Orders on a weekly basis.
  • Responding to emails received in a shared Planning inbox.
  • Communicating effectively and positively with all teams, colleagues and managers.
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time.
