Role title: Planning, Design and Dimensioning (PDD) Data Core Engineering Senior Manager

Role Purpose
Lead the Planning, Design and Dimensioning and the Evolution for the Data Core Network for Vodafone to guarantee the proper end-to-end design, dimensioning, cloud design and integration, cybersecurity and optimisation of the Data Core network, according to Business Demand to deliver best in class service and support the cloud evolution journey to deliver the network of the future to host all current data services for 2G, 3G, 4G and also all the new ones for 5G such as MPN, MEC, network exposure services, etc.
Secure the Data Core network best performance, secured and quality of service as per customers and business needs.
Drive the evolution of the Data Core network, and the introduction of new advanced technologies such as 5GSA, including AI, Automation, and the evolution to Cloud.
Provide active support to Network Strategy and Architecture and VPC and have a key role in network evolution and strategic plans and RFQs for Data Core Services and network functions.
Manage suppliers and partners to deliver the required new capabilities for consumer and corporate customers in the Data Core space.
Facilitate the cross-domain activities coordination and interaction with Network Strategy and Architecture team, Cloud Connectivity and Engineering, Core&Services, Vodafone Procurement Center and other Vodafone teams and departments.
Build the required environment to create an ambitious and high-performance team gradually increasing performance and capabilities.
