You have the opportunity to work at a world class manufacturing site, with an investment of over £50 million in advanced manufacturing machinery, including Robotic Welders, Automated Fibre Laser Profiling, Vertical Turning Centres, Turret Punching Machines, and CNC Press Brakes.

To be a key driver in delivering Plant Availability by improving and maintaining processes and equipment, which creates a workplace fit for purpose and an operational platform which meets current and future strategic business needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and contribute to a culture of Continuous Improvement & Safe Working.
  2. Follow Safe Systems Of Work.
  3. Complete equipment planned maintenance activities on time and in a safe manner.
  4. Develop and continuously improve planned maintenance systems and tasks.
  5. Work closely with Operational Leadership to identify equipment risks and solutions.
  6. Work closely with Team Leaders to help improve equipment availability.
  7. Identify and implement reliability improvements.
  8. Liaise professionally with external suppliers, OEMs, and contractors.
  9. Communicate well with colleagues in all areas of the business and highlight issues to management teams.
  10. Assist with investigations into reliability improvements.
  11. Be proactive in keeping up to date with developments affecting your role.
