Pipefitter

My client is looking for a Pipefitter to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.

Duties:

1. Install, repair, and maintain heating systems in residential and commercial buildings
2. Perform heavy lifting and manual labour as needed for installation and maintenance tasks
3. Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating systems
4. Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and materials to job sites
5. Thread pipes and assemble components according to specifications
6. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
7. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
8. Provide general maintenance person services as needed

Experience:

1. Previous experience as a breakdown engineer is preferred
2. Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with HVAC systems
3. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes
4. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
5. Proficient in pipe threading and assembly techniques

The salary is up to 45,000pa depending on experience.
