Mechanical Pipe Fitter required in the Gloucestershire area for an M&E Contractor, who have been going from strength-to-strength since their inception over 30 years ago. The client offers Mechanical & Electrical services to a variety of clients, many of whom are 'blue chip' companies.

The Mechanical Pipe Fitter will be responsible for installation, commissioning and maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment including pipework and HVAC systems on projects. The Pipe Fitter will be responsible for fabrication and installation of pipework including plastic, copper, steel, and stainless-steel pipe predominately on steam, heating and chilled water systems, installation and maintenance of plant and equipment associated with such piping systems for example pumps, valves, strainers and control systems, and installation of heating and ventilation plant including the installation of duct and other plant associated with the distribution system.

The Pipe Fitter will live within a commutable distance of Gloucestershire and will hold a full Driving Licence.

Mechanical Pipe Fitter Position Requirements

• City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in pipe fitting or equivalent (this may be industry certified).
• Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Installing & Pre-commissioning Industrial & Commercial H&V Pipework Systems.
• Understanding of, and experience in, working within the Construction Industry.
• Driving Licence.
• CSCS Skill Card.
• Live within a commutable distance of Gloucestershire.

Mechanical Pipe Fitter Position Remuneration

• Basic Salary £41,600-£46,800 DOE.
• 40 Hour Working Week - 07:30-16:00.
• 21 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday, increases with time served.
