Pipe Fitter

Pipefitters X2 are required to work on a multi-million pound installation and redevelopment project near Sheffield.

Minimum 6 week contract, £25 per hour, overtime paid at £37.50 per hour. Payment Options: CIS, LTD and Umbrella. Whilst this is initially a 6 week contract, the company has upcoming local contracts for which pipefitters will also be required. Ideally, we are looking to speak with qualified pipefitters; however, steel access fitters, steel erectors, and mechanical fitters will be considered, although experience with large bore pipe is essential.

Duties include:

• Pipe installation of various sizes up to 1000mm DN
• Erection of mechanical assemblies, mainly pipework but including supports and steelwork.
• Inspection of equipment and identify faulty components and defects while upholding high levels of attention to detail.

Requirements:

• CSCS card is essential, minimum labourer.
• SHEA Water card is essential
• IPAF, PASMA, Confined Space are desirable
• Slinger/Signaller would be ideal
• Experience on commercial/industrial projects is a MUST
• Must have own tools

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 7 am - 5 pm, 50 hour working week; anything over 50 hours paid time and one half.
