Pipe Fitter

My client is currently recruiting for 2/3 experienced Pipe Fitters that have experience with PVC and metal pipework. The project is on a water treatment works in Oswestry, with 10 months left on the project, possibly longer. We are looking for experienced Pipe Fitters to work on this project.

HOURLY RATE : GBP25 per hour - CIS only

LOCATION : Oswestry

DATE COMMENCING : 24 March 2025

LENGTH OF CONTRACT : 10 months - may run longer as the job keeps getting extended

HOURS OF WORK :
7:00 - 17:30
Book x 10 hours per day, Monday - Thursday & 6 hours on Friday - 46 hours per week booked and paid.

JOB DESCRIPTION : Pipe Fitter, Pipefitter, Commercial Plumber

The Pipe Fitter role will involve general installation of plastic and metal pipework. It will include a mixture of threaded, bolted, solvent welded, and fusion welded installations (experience of installing solvent welded PVC-U is not essential).

It will also involve the general installation of Unistrut and cable tray dosing lines - similar to pulling in cables.

Own transport is essential. My client will provide any materials and tools if anything out of the norm is required.

Do not have the EUSR Water Hygiene Card? We can book you onto a course that is 3 hours long at a cost of GBP120, and we will reimburse you GBP50 once you've completed 3 months of work.

REQUIREMENTS :
- Pipe Fitter, Pipefitter, Commercial Plumber
- CSCS Card
- EUSR Water Hygiene Card
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Confined Space
- SSSTS - not essential but advantageous to have.

PERSON SPECIFICATION :
- Hard working
- Experience of installing solvent PVC pipework
- Water treatment plant experience
- Ability to get to site by 7am every day.

NB : The site will undertake drugs and alcohol testing during the induction and random testing throughout the works.
