Pipe Fitter

Due to expansion and growth, permanent positions have arisen for Pipe Fitter / Fabricator. Please note that the main base for this role will be Northumberland.

Rate of Pay: £20.01 per hour, overtime would be £28.01 & £36.01 (PAYE)

Guaranteed overtime on offer.

Job Description:

1. Must be able to work on their own or with a team.
2. Able to carry out all pipefitting duties; if you can weld to a coded standard, it is advantageous.
3. Working on mainly thin wall metric and hygienic stainless, also schedule stainless and carbon.
4. Workshop & site work on various locations in distilleries, breweries, waste to energy, food processing etc.
5. Overtime and weekend working required.

1. Cutting, prepping, and tacking Carbon and Stainless including Dairy Pipe.

1. Time served Pipe fitter.
2. Must be conscientious in approach to all fitting work to ensure high standards and quality.
3. Act with honesty, integrity, and accountability.
4. Ability to work well in a team.

1. Time served / Qualified preferred but not essential; at least 4 years' experience in the above role.
2. Knowledge of welding and fabrication would be an advantage - operation and procedures as required for the role may include:
3. Cutting, prepping, and tacking Carbon and Stainless including Dairy Pipe.
4. Machine/workshop power tools and machinery.
