Job Title: Functional Assessor (Physiotherapist)
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £37,800 - £39,500 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Mon-Fri 9-5 pm
Anticipated Start Date: March 2025

Job Overview:
We're looking for Physiotherapists who enjoy making a difference in people's lives every day. If you are looking for a break from shift work or are seeking a new exciting career opportunity to develop and enhance your physio skills while helping people, apply and become a Functional Assessor. You will carry out assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life and produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.

What We Look For:

  1. A HCPC-registered adult physiotherapist with at least 1 year's broad post-registration experience in the UK
  2. A proactive and keen learner with excellent oral and written communication skills
  3. Someone comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
  4. An expert clinician comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including complex cases and mental health conditions

This role is a great opportunity for registered physiotherapists to develop their clinical knowledge and hone their assessment skills further, all while helping people move forward with their lives.
