Physiotherapist Barts Hospital | Physiotherapy | Bank | Part time Up to £28 per hour depending on experience
Main Duties of the Job:
- Work across Inpatients and Outpatients and a range of musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative cases.
- Be part of our multidisciplinary team of nurses, AHPs and consultants, supported by a regional Clinical Lead.
- Help our patients achieve, maintain and recover to their aspired level of health and wellbeing.
- Deliver excellent clinical care that's safe, effective, caring, well-led and responsive to patients' needs.
- Be compliant with all governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes.
- Enjoy protected CPD time and access to programmes and events by the Nuffield Health Academy.
About Us:
Nuffield Health Barts Hospital is the City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and provides a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynecology and urology services. Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four advanced digital operating theatres, and a full diagnostic imaging suite.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
- We are looking for experienced bank physiotherapists to join the Inpatient team at Nuffield Health at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in central London.
- We will require experienced physiotherapists from a variety of backgrounds to ensure a genuinely exceptional client experience throughout the hospital.
- You will need to have:
- A BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Proven post qualification clinical experience in Critical Care and Cardiothoracic and Orthopaedic hospital settings.
- Significant post-qualification experience in physiotherapy delivery and working as a multidisciplinary team.
- Candidates must be computer literate as we will be using an electronic patient record system.
- The ability to prioritise and deal with a varied workload in an effective and timely manner.

Person Specification:
Qualifications Essential:
- BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Experience Essential:
- Post registration experience.
