This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynecology, and urology services. Job responsibilities

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. If you want to make a big impact on the wellbeing of your patients, here's where you can. As the UK's largest Healthcare Charity, we're shaping the nation's health. We support and encourage postgraduate education with access to training, mentoring, and career development - so we'll help shape your future, too.

We are looking for experienced bank physiotherapists to join the Inpatient team at Nuffield Health at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in central London. While we have a core team of full-time physiotherapists to support the clinical activity, we are also looking for bank team members to support weekday and weekend cover. We will require experienced physiotherapists from a variety of backgrounds to ensure a genuinely exceptional client experience throughout the hospital. We are happy to consider candidates that have experience of cardio-respiratory, surgical, critical care, or orthopaedic specialties.

Qualifications
  • A BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Proven post-qualification clinical experience in Critical Care, Cardiothoracic, and Orthopaedic hospital settings
  • Significant post-qualification experience in physiotherapy delivery and working as a multidisciplinary team
  • Candidates must be computer literate as we will be using an electronic patient record system
  • The ability to prioritise and deal with a varied workload in an effective and timely manner
Professional Development

We're committed to the professional development of all our clinical colleagues. Inside our Learning and Development Academy, you'll discover a range of internal CPD courses and online content to support your clinical and professional development. As a Nuffield Health Physiotherapist, you'll also enjoy opportunities to apply for funding support towards your relevant CPD activity and postgraduate study. Plus, you can access further professional development opportunities via the large number of apprenticeship programmes we offer.

Benefits

We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy, and valued. That's why we've developed a benefits package with you in mind, including Holiday in line with the Working Time Directive, access to our Pension Scheme, and discounted gym membership at £15.00 a month.
