A modern, 'Good' graded Secondary School in Greenwich is looking for a Physics Teacher / Head of Physics (£8000 TLR) for a January 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time contract.

This Physics Teacher / Head of Physics role will include the following responsibilities:

• Teaching KS4 & KS5 Physics - Approx 19 periods out of 33.
• Full autonomy of Physics teaching throughout the school.
• TLR opportunities for Head of Physics or Lead Practitioner of Physics.
• Small class sizes - 20 at GCSE and under 10 in Year 12 and 13.
• Extensive pastoral support team.
• Brilliant behaviour policy.
• Close-knit team with a great social aspect.
• Strong focus on the development of oracy across the curriculum.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining.
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs.
• Must meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level.
• You must be a team player.
