Physician Assistant - Urgent Care

Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full time (1.0 FTE) Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team located in Whitehall, Michigan.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Urgent Care environment, offering comprehensive health services for acute illnesses and injuries. The provider will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver efficient and effective medical care for adults and children for treatments and conditions such as:

• Sprains and strains
• Stitches
• Rashes
• Cold and Flu symptoms
• Tooth pain
• Sore throat
• Pink eye
• Lower back pain
• Animal or insect bite
• Urinary tract infection
• Ear pain

Practice Features include:

• 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm) with some variability possible
• Urgent Care will have 1.5-2 providers staff on all shifts
• Will have a MA on staff
• Urgent Care operational hours are Monday- Friday, 8am-8pm and Saturday, 8-2pm
• Facility offers onsite access to primary care, lab, life counseling and rehabilitation services if needed
• Very busy Urgent Care with the opportunity to see a variety of patients and autonomy to do your job
• No on call hours for Urgent Care

Qualifications:

• Experience required in either Urgent Care or Family Medicine
• APPs must be board certified in their specialty prior to employment
• State of Michigan license required at time of employment.
• DEA license
• BLS Certification and maintain recertification.
