I'm currently partnered with a growing FinTech business who are currently looking for a PHP Developer to join their team.

The business's financial platform serves key customers across multiple regions and their platform is critical for managing transactions, reporting and payment integrations.

They are now looking for a skilled PHP Developer to enhance and maintain their financial platform as the company continues to grow. You'll be involved in fixing existing functionality, optimizing database performance, and developing new features to improve platform efficiency and customer experience.

What will you be doing:

• Debug and resolve any issues in the current PHP-based platform
• Implement and develop new features based on business requirements
• Optimize MySQL queries and database performance
• Work across cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and scalability
• Maintain best practices and compliance with financial data standards

What are they looking for:

• Good experience with PHP 7.2, 7.3 and 7.4
• Strong knowledge and experience in MySQL including query optimization and database design
• Experience working with Apache 2.4
• Previous experience in upgrading legacy PHP applications
