Photography Teacher - Full-Time | SEMH Secondary School | Totteridge & Whetstone | Start September 2025

We're looking for a Photography Teacher to join a secondary SEMH school in Totteridge & Whetstone from September 2025. This is a unique opportunity to teach and inspire students through creative expression while supporting their personal growth and academic success.

Photography Teacher Role:
  1. Delivering engaging, practical photography lessons to secondary-aged students, including those working towards GCSE and BTEC qualifications
  2. Planning and delivering a curriculum that is both accessible and aspirational for learners with SEMH needs
  3. Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
  4. Using photography to develop technical skills, self-confidence, and emotional expression
  5. Working closely with a supportive team of staff, including therapists and pastoral leads
Photography Teacher Responsibilities:
  1. A creative, patient and enthusiastic teacher with experience in photography or creative arts
  2. Experience working with young people with SEMH needs is highly desirable
  3. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is required
  4. A positive, resilient approach with strong behaviour management skills
