We are looking to appoint a hard-working and enthusiastic Phlebotomist/Health Care Assistant to join our established nursing team.
The ideal candidate must be experienced in phlebotomy and/or already be a Health Care Assistant in a GP practice or working in another community environment.
The position is for a minimum of 30 hours per week, this could be increased depending upon the successful applicant.

Working with the nursing team, your role will involve supporting patients with chronic disease management, health promotion, undertaking blood tests, urinalysis and all NHS screening programmes, foot checks, taking medical histories and ECGs.
You will also be expected to ensure that rooms are stocked with materials and equipment.
Good data input skills and IT knowledge are essential.
The Castle Medical Group is an Outstanding (CQC inspection January 2016) GP Training Practice based at Clitheroe Health Centre serving a practice population of approximately 15,500 patients.
We also hold surgeries at our Annexe building (just down the road) and the successful applicant will be required to work across both sites.
