Phlebotomist

Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of a Phlebotomist Band 2-3 to join the Phlebotomy Department based out of Widnes/Warrington. The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm; however, there is scope for flexibility, so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply. This position is initially on an ongoing locum basis, but it is most likely to become permanent.

We currently have vacancies within our phlebotomy services to take blood from patients in a busy, friendly environment. This role requires our phlebotomist to work unsupervised, covering both mornings and afternoons on a rota to support their community team.

The successful applicant needs to possess exceptional phlebotomy skills. In addition to excellent communication skills, they need to be caring and responsible, along with a good general education to facilitate exceptional support to our clinical teams by delivering a high standard of phlebotomy service. The role of the phlebotomist will be to ensure that relevant protocols and policies are adhered to in relation to the invasive procedure.

The pay rate for this locum role is between £11.16 - £14.16 per hour, depending on experience; however, this is open for negotiation for someone with extensive experience.
